Hi everyone, I was super excited to try out my new Gear Fit 2 (ordered from Best Buy in the US), but heartbreakingly it will not actually connect to my phone. I am on a Galaxy S 6 running the original OS, but the tricky part is that it is from a Japanese provider (DoCoMo).
I am also having the same issue with the Galaxy wearable app while trying to set up my Galaxy Watch 4, saying "Check your network connection, then try again." I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app and turned off my devices several times.
Switch on Bluetooth by pulling down your phone's notification shade and tapping on the Bluetooth icon after your phone restarts. Make sure that the device is in pairing mode. Keep it close and give your phone time to scan all nearby devices. Once your phone shows the device's name on the screen, tap on it and connect.
